Percy was in the London underground sewers, trying to not smell the nauseating stench that was everywhere. Finally, he reached a manhole, but as he pushed it up, the light was SO bright, that he fell back and knocked himself unconscious on the filthy black walls.

1 hour later, Percy woke up to find himself on a hospital bed, with bandages wrapped all around him and a nurse at the side of his bed. As soon as she noticed, the nurse shushed him and fed him a sticky substance that stung his tongue. “Ouch, it stings.” He moaned quietly and softly.

When the Mayor opened the new fair, everyone cheered in celebration. All except one. Katharine Harley stood at the back, feeling nervous about the performance she was about to put on. 100 Word Challenge week 10

On a cold winter night, a 1-week-old puppy was lying curled up in a box. Wendy and Freya leant over it. As it shivered, they checked to see if anyone was coming, then rescued the puppy. Bringing it home was going to be a problem, but they couldn’t just leave it there. There was a shed in their garden which the girls agreed would be a sensible place to put it until they could find it a home. A cardboard box lined with newspapers would be a bed and Wendy agreed to give up her doll’s bottle to bottle-feed it.
